Ruffled Scarf in Shades of Green.

This is similar to the olive-colored scarf, except instead of the double-treble three times for a big ruffle, I went for a more subtle ruffle by going around the rectangle with 2 dc in each dc, even along the small sides, and what I'm working on now for the third "round" is going over with just 1 dc in each dc so it's a big but subtle ruffle.

At first I was like...

...but then someone on (LJ)geekcrafts linked me to a binary translator and all those hours went to waste in seconds.

Oh yeah, I'm working on a fillet crochet blanket where the pattern is a poem by my best friend put into binary. Said friend will also be the recipient. (Said friend is, of course. Fizzy. <3)

Green and Yellow Drawstring Bag

Another drawstring bag along the basic lines of the other drawstring bags (Ya, I'm on a bit of a easy cute things kick), except this one has rows of fillet crochet and it alternates between green and blue Lion Brand Hometown USA yarn (seriously, I want a commission :P), and the bottom is a square. It was originally going to be a macrame-type container for an origami box made from not-quite-cardstock scrapbooking paper.

I love projects that can be made using the gray hook, the kind that sometimes comes with a bigger blue hook. I'm not sure what letter it is.






What do you think, should I add a gauzy (white, probably) fabric to line the inside so it's better able to hold small things like coins that fall to the bottom of one's bag?

Warm Colors Drawstring Bag

This one was really quick to make so I didn't take pictures mid-project. I used the same basic pattern as with my other drawstring bags, except this one was done with three yearns--red, orange, and yellow Red Heart Super Saver yarn--at once.

Blue and Green Top

Another top I'm making using this pattern, using blue, white, and green extra chunky yarn in a fillet crochet pattern.

Ruffled Scarf -- now, with some ruffles!

I'm not using a pattern, but if you want to do your own in this style, just made a loooong chain, then double crocheted around both sides, then at each end I'd dc 2, ch 2, dc 4, ch 2, and dc 2 all in the top loop, and at that point you've got a loooong rectangle. I tied off and on each side I'll be "triple-crocheting" by my definition, which means wrapping around the hook three times instead of one like you'd do to double crochet.
